When was TribeVibe founded? TribeVibe's founding team met while working under the same media group in Australia. Later, they came together to evolve what was to become TribeVibe, and all three founders graduated from the inaugural Founder Institute program in Silicon Valley in the summer of 2009. The alpha has been highly anticipated with over 4000 people registering to use it. Within the first three days of releasing the first alpha iteration in August 2010, over 1500 URLs had been plugged into TribeVibe, with reporting delivered in less than 180 milliseconds every time. Our founding team has worked together successfully before to build consumer websites used by millions for global media brands. Darren Waldren Darren Waldren is an award-winning user experience leader, design champion and entrepreneur. He's held creative director roles in consultancy and at Australia's biggest media company, launched two previous businesses, and has created experiences that have delighted millions working with brands like News Corp, Macmillan, Microsoft/ninemsn and Sony. Jed White Jed White is a software developer and entrepreneur with a passion for the future of media. Developing software since age 8, he's started two previous businesses, worked as Editor-in-Chief and Publishing Director for Australia's biggest media group, and built consumer websites used by millions for companies like News Corp and Microsoft/ninemsn. Jo White Jo White is a marketer and social media evangelist and educator with extensive media industry experience. Jo is currently undertaking her PhD in the Alliance of Technology, Learning and Society (ATLAS) with research in the use of social media in natural disasters funded through the Computer Science department at the University of Colorado. She sold her first successful business aged 20, launched a popular gaming magazine and was a senior Editor for Australia's biggest media company. Jo has held senior communications roles for IBM, Ardent and Cognos, and was nominee for Young Australian of the Year. |
